“Vacant” (Extended Haiku) Word of The Day Challenge – Delight & Daily Echo’s Photo Prompt Challenge

“Vacant”

(Extended Haiku)

Old English Tudor

once a delightful sight, now

dilapidated.

Pitched roofing bowing,

gable cross canopy drooping,

value deflated.

Large stone brick chimney

chipping away foundation,

owner’s vacated.

Old English Tudor

a once steep, straight, and adorned,

ghostly shell, gated.
