Funday Sunday!πŸ“½πŸ€—πŸ•

Happy Funday Sunday Folks!

I know, I know, Sunday’s are usually the day we catch up on things we haven’t gotten done on Saturday.Β  This is something I have to deal with too.Β Β

Pretty much sums it all up!

Although I have a few things that need to be finished, I’ve been looking forward to this particular Sunday for a week and a half.Β  Once my chores are completed, it’s time for “Funday Sunday!”

Later on this afternoon, my roommate and I have our dear friend, JT coming over for Pizza and a movie.Β  I can’t wait to be a bump on a log and chill out watching “Bohemian Rhapsody” The true story of Freddy Mercury and the band Queen.

I already have my Kleenex on hand, because I’m sure I’ll be weeping like a baby.Β  (towards the end) I’m sure of it.Β  I’ll make sure I write my review of the following movie tomorrow.

If you haven’t ever heard of the band ‘Queen, I leave you with one hour of Queens greatest hits!Β  Enjoy!!!!

Alright, my fellow blogging buddies, it’s time for me to close for today and get ready to movie afternoon/evening.Β  Hope you find time to chill out and relax this Sunday!

  1. Enjoy the movie, Beckie!! I saw it on premiere night, in an Imax theater in Paris. To be honest, I went because my best friend really really wanted to see it, and though I loved the band’s music, I wasn’t especially excited to see the film. OMG! I loved it, and I am really glad she insisted we went to the theater that night… Can’t wait to read your review πŸ™‚

      • I think I was afraid that they just wanted to make loads of money off the fact that Queen is such a popular band. You know? Big name, attracting crowds… No need to make an effort to deliver a particularly good movie. But I absolutely loved it! And I hope you will too πŸ™‚

        • I am more interested in the story. I was always such a fan of their music, but I was so heart broken over the death of Freddy Mercury.
When I first saw they were doing a movie about them/him, I couldn’t wait to see it.
I have seen many documentaries about him, and this is so important to me. The actor that played him just won an academy/or was it an oscar award for his portrayal of him.

          • It was an Oscar, and he totally deserved it! (though I was rooting for Willem Dafoe :P) I didn’t know that much about the story behind the band (I was only 13 years old, when Freddy died) and you’ll be able to tell me if the story is accurate πŸ™‚
