~πŸ’œ~ Bed Sweet Bed ~πŸ’œ~

Hello, My Dear Friends.Β  Hope this late Sunday afternoon and/or Monday is treating you well.

I am home after a fun-filled week of house sitting and dog sitting during a massive heat wave.Β  I pulled in last night around 8:30’ish, was unpacked, fed the cat, and fish, and Peanut (Parrot) was begging, “Mommy, mommy night, night.”Β  He was uncovered all week long, so his clock was way off.

I was so elated to lay down in my own bed and had no difficulty falling asleep at all last night.Β  Hell, I slept so well, I didn’t wake up until 12:30pm. ‘Nah, I wasn’t tired.’Β  Damn, it felt so good!

Today, I listened to all the fun stories that my roommate and her sister shared with me, and I was really happy that my roommate, JK got away, and chilled out.Β  She really needed to get away and truly have fun.Β  She brought me back an extra huge T-shirt from Lake George, New York, which I absolutely love because I hate tight fitting clothing.Β  Her sister paid me well for watching the house and her beloved dog, Jack.Β Β

Afterward, I went to the supermarket to stock up on things I really needed since neither one of us was home.Β  So, to say the very least, I haven’t been online all day until now.Β  There was so much in my spam file again, which ticked me off because it was the “3.2.1 Quote Me” from (A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip) & (Bipolar Barb).Β  Naturally, I will catch up with that, but not today.Β  Today is all about relaxing and catching up on laundry and cleaning out a fishbowl.

I am looking so forward to fall back into my routine of reading and blogging in my comfort zone, which will begin tomorrow.Β  I actually can’t wait to lay back down in bed and watch “Black Mirror” on Netflix.Β  There is nothing better than sleeping in your own bed.Β  Mentally speaking, I’m in a good place today.Β Β

Question for you…Β  Have you ever been away, where you can’t wait to get back and sleep in your own bed?

Well, it’s time for me to start laundry and the fishbowl.Β  πŸ™‚

Take Care & God Bless,

Beckie

    • Oh My God, Yes! Hospital beds suck! I didn’t even think of that one. But, boy oh boy they really are horrible! “Black Mirror” is like an updated version of the “Twilight Zone” – a bunch of individual stories that make you really think about how the future might be like because of all the advanced technology we have at the present time. I like it a lot. πŸ™‚

  1. Twice in my life I was desperate to get home and thereby back into my own bed. Once when my hubby and I were in Cyprus, on a resort, which we hated with a vengence (so a bad choice and I’ve never been back to the travel agent that recommended it) ,and which was around the time my midlife crisis was exerting itself upon my emotions. Second time was on a holiday with my sister in Sorrento, where a bladder senistivity went beserk 9feeling like cystitis), I had to see a doctor, I was getting no sleep and the pains were scary, and my sister felt I was spoiling her holiday…so very relieved to get back home! Yes, one’s own bed is a special place and I do all my leisure reading on it or in it!
