~*~ Ahh… It’s Saturday. The End of a Long Hot Week! ~*~

Hello, My Friends!  Happy Saturday to All of YOU!

The heat wave finally broke!  Hallelujah!  The dogs must have sensed it too because they woke me up at 6:30 am this morning.  Either that or they were waiting to torture me on my last day of puppy and house sitting.  LOL!  The temps this morning was 61 cool degrees with no humidity.

I would be lying if I said, I wasn’t looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.  To be back in my own room and chat with my parrot, Peanut.  To be back in my comfort zone and actually be able to write where I feel the most comfortable. To be able to lay down in bed and watch Netflix, and to sleep really late tomorrow which I am sincerely looking forward to.

This week wouldn’t have been so bad if it wasn’t for that oppressive heat and humidity.  It really amplified the pain in my knees and back.  My mother has it worse than I do, heck there are several people that have it worse than me, but my mother recommended taking an herb called Turmeric along with Tylenol for Arthritis because the pain was excruciating.  Although I’m not really supposed to feel much relief until a month from now from the Turmeric, I’m still hoping that the Tylenol Arthritis stuff helps.  Another reason why I need my health insurance debacle to be resolved.  I need my cortisone shots in my knees and work done to my back.

Anyway, the family should be home around 6pm today, and I really am looking forward to going home.  So, I have to pack up my stuff and do a little cleaning up before they arrive home.  I wish I knew where their vacuum cleaner was in order to clean up all the dog hair that was shed this week.  Oye! There is so much hair!!!

Okay, my friends, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Take Care & God Bless,

  1. There’s that mention of nasty pain, again – so far I’ve no arthritis I’m happy to say…
Hope you feel better & get the help you need to cope! 🙂

  2. Oh those dogs are adorable! I used to have Labs so I know they are a handful. I’m glad you’ll get to be back in your comfort zone. There really is “no place like home!”
I hope your arthrists gets better. I have never tried tumeric, but I take regular anti-flammatory stuff for my feet every night. I just get the generic brand because Tylenol is so expensive. The ingredients are the same.
