Hello, All! Hope you are all well.
My friends and I met in Duke Island Park, Bridgewater, NJ, USA, for our self-made anxiety group. I’m so glad we started doing this because it is so good to get things off our chest and sit and relax under the pavilion.
It was almost 90 degrees out, which meant we all showed up with huge beverages with lots of ice. It seemed to have rained everywhere else in NJ, but where we were meeting. At least there was a good cross breeze through the open fields.
We all went around the table and talked about what has been going on in each other’s lives, and the challenges we have faced. And, for the first time in months, I had good news to report in. Which of course, was being able to see my therapist again, and get back on schedule with my medications. Everyone was so supportive and congratulated me because they know how hard it’s been for me since March.
Next week, we won’t be able to meet because my roommate is going on a camping trip with her sister’s family up to Lake George, and I’ll be traveling back and forth between Bridgewater and Middlesex, NJ, taking care of all the pets and house sitting.
We are supposed to be hit with a massive heat wave here in the Northeast, and I’m not exactly looking forward to driving back and forth because my car has no air conditioning. But, that is the only downside to this upcoming week. For the most part, I’m looking forward to the peace and quiet.
My friend JT will be spending some time with me, and we plan on BBQing and watching crazy shit on Youtube. I’ll be bringing my laptop with me in order to keep up with reading and writing my blog. In fact, tomorrow I have to start packing a couple of things to take with me to my roommate’s sister’s house.
Well, this was my day in a nutshell. I hope all of you have a pleasant evening/day ahead of you.
Take Care & God Bless,
