~*~ Anxiety Group Luncheon Pt.2 ~*~

When your life is out of balance you can sense it. Find Simple Steps, easy things you can do each day to restore balance.

Hello, My Dear Friends, and Happy Friday to you all!  Hope this finds you in a good mood today with the weekend approaching.

I thought I would just tell you a little about my the luncheon some of us from our old Anxiety Group had yesterday.  First, it was just so wonderful to see my friends! That’s always a plus, but to have gotten together for the sole purpose of discussing what is going on in our current lives was so beneficial.

We each went around the table to share what was going on, and naturally, I brought up my dilemma of how Medicaid terminated my medical insurance because I earned too much through SSDI.  Within seconds, answers and suggestions came flooding me with an arsenal to better equip myself to further my search for reasonable medical insurance.  Yay!  I am so grateful for this information and will be making calls today.

As far as we are concerned, it looks like we will keep Thursday’s open for future meetings to benefit our overall mental health because we found that it truly helped us by just venting and sharing, instead of holding in all the angst and suffering silently with this pent up anxiety we all have.  It’s fantastic to have that support system.

I only wish we had some of the other member’s phone numbers in order to reach out and contact them to join our little group.  We all admitted how much we missed a majority of our normal group setting.

So that concludes yesterday’s adventure of meeting with my gang from the “Anxiety Group”, I’m so happy we are going to continue it!  Yay!

Take Care & God Bless,

  1. That is awesome that you have an anxiety group. Sounds like a nice and beneficial group to go to. I hope something works out for your insurance. I still do not understand how you can make too much on SSDI and not get medicare. Sounds ridiculous to me. I hope you find something good and cheap enough for you.
