~*~ Anxiety Group Luncheon 💚~*~

Meeting people is tough--especially if you struggle with social anxiety. Many of us would rather avoid social situations rather struggle through the stress we associate with being around others. Avoidance and isolation, however, is not the answer.

Good Morning and Happy Friday Eve to all of you!  I hope you are all doing okay today and looking forward to the week coming to an end.

Some of you may or may not remember the dilemma that I was in last December, debating whether or not I was going to go back to my “Peace & Progress (aka) Anxiety Group” through my Counties mental health facility;  well, I did, in fact, drop out of it because of the facilitator not being able to relate to those who had real issues with anxiety.  He also seemed as if he could care less being there, and was only there to keep track of the time we were using.

Well, it wasn’t just me who rebelled against the group and quit going, but there were several of us that did.

Today, a small group of us rebels is meeting for a late luncheon to talk amongst ourselves, and be there as a support to one another.  I personally can’t wait, since it has been so long since I was in a group atmosphere discussing our anxiety, and issues since we were all together in that facility.

I so can’t wait to see my friends and support system, and I’ll fill you in later about how everything went.

Take Care & God Bless,

Beckie 💚
