REBLOG: I can so relate to the following poem from “Poetry Form The Inkwell” – Very well written.
Insomnia lay waiting
in the closet of my mind
gossiping with my skeletons
and before Sleep
could dust my eyes
Insomnia stabbed it
in the back
thinking it had
the upper hand
but ready was i
whipped out my pen
and wrote it to death
and each night now
i bury Insomnia
over and over
in my poetry
