I forgive myself for not participating in class at school,
for staying silent and not contributing to group discussions.
I had a lot of ideas in my head; I just didn’t know how to express them.

I forgive myself for not standing up to bullies; for believing their words and letting them trample all over me; For not realising my own worth. I know I was better and stronger than them – I just didn’t know it at the time.

I forgive myself for getting jealous over petty things;
When my friends made other friends and I assumed I was being forgotten.
I know I can never be forgotten – not if I can help it.

I forgive myself for cutting people out of my life and for not keeping in touch…
