March 20, 2018: Just Another Day in The Life of Me. 🙏

Pray. Wait. Trust. The first thing we need to do is usually the last thing we do when we’re faced with a problem. Pray! That’s the first thing we need to do. We need to go to God with it first. Then we wait and trust in Him that He hears our prayers and He will answer us. Let this inspirational print be a reminder of that. #pray #wait #trust

Good Afternoon Friends Hope all is well with each and every one of you.  🙂

As of yesterday, I learned that my Medicaid was expired due to no reason whatsoever.  I never received anything in the mail, nor e-mail.  I have been calling and leaving messages throughout the day, and not getting very far, which is very concerning to me.  I ended up having to cancel all my future doctor’s appointments for the next three weeks because I don’t know what to expect.  I won’t say that this surprises me in the very least because I’m sure once someone calls me back, I’ll hear them tell me, “Well, we mailed you a recertification form…”  Right!   😡 😠 🤬

Here is was that I had a relaxing weekend, and now this had to happen.  My anxiety is tweaked just a bit, but I know that I have no control over this, and I have to give it over to God by praying for calm and guidance.  🙏  Again, practicing patience even though my nerves are shot.

I also tried to practice or allow myself to self-sooth today, by reading “The Language of Letting Go” – Daily Meditation on Codependency, by Melody Beattie.  I thought today’s prayer was rather soothing to say the very least.

” Today God, help me become willing to let go of old beliefs and feelings that may be hurting me.  Gently take them from me and replace them with new beliefs and feelings.  I do deserve the best life and love to offer.  Help me believe that.”    03/20 Entry.

I am praying that this issue is resolved in a timely manner, in order to obtain my medications in a reasonable time frame, and that I am able to reschedule all of my appointments quickly.  😇

Other than that, It is the first day of Spring and we are due to get our fourth Winter storm named “Tony”, I want to tell Tony where to go…  If you catch my drift.  This winter is relentless, and just want’s to linger until June at this rate.  LOL!  😂 🤣  Oh well, don’t have control over this either, I just felt like bitching about it.  Hahahahaaa!

Alright, I don’t want to bore you with this rambling any further.  I hope all of you enjoyed your Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Take Care & God Bless,

Beckie  💗

  1. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I can imagine how frustrating it must be. I thought you had Medicare, not Medicaid because I thought you mentioned that you’re on disability?

  2. Tell Tony to take a hike. It is difficult dealing with all the rules and regs sometimes – it would have been more reasonable and fair had you been given adequate warning beforehand. I hope you get it resolved quickly.
