Wacky Weather!

US Severe Weather Alerts

Hi, there everyone…  So, between this evening and tomorrow, the North East is supposed to be hit with a Northeastern storm.  “Oh, joy!”  We got pretty spoiled here over the last few weeks with milder temps for the month of February, but for the next 24 hours, that is all going to change drastically.  We here in New Jersey are just hoping we don’t see any more of that white crap fall out of the sky.  It was nice back in late November but after that, it wore off its charms.  🌬 💨

So, how if the weather in your neck of the woods?  Is March a lion causing havoc for the beginning of your month?  I’m always curious because I’m a big weather buff.  I have always been this way for as long as I can remember.

I actually don’t even mind the weather being a mess over the next 24-36 hours, because that’s just the homebody in me.  I’m happy just keeping put in the four walls of my room, with candles and tea lights lit all throughout.  🕯

What do you do when the weather is out of control?  Do you have any activities that you enjoy?  Does it affect your mood or your depression in any way?  Or does it comfort you?   ❓ ❔ ❓ ❔ ❓ ❔

I myself am going to be cooking most of the day tomorrow, then catching up on reading here.  I feel like I’m so behind with all my blogging buddies.  I hate that.  I feel like I’m missing a limb.

I’d enjoy hearing what the weather is doing out by you? and what do you like to do when we have wacky weather?

Look forward to hearing from you all!

Take Care, Be Safe & God Bless,

Beckie 💗

  1. Nice to see a fellow weather buff around here. We’re expecting a bunch of rain on the West coast. I actually don’t mind because I love the rain, it makes me feel peaceful. Also, we need it! Hope things warm up soon!

  2. I just finished up today’s post about the weather – for me it affects my walking regimen. But this wacky Winter weather is affecting my psyche! Yesterday we had temps that reached 60 degrees, and then it started going downhill bigtime. It rained like there was no tomorrow this morning, then the spigot was turned off and the snow machine cranked up – I’m scared to look out tomorrow morning. I don’t go out in the dark to shovel so it will wait until tomorrow – we had thunder snow, thunder lightening and for a while it was coming down one inch an hour. Spring cannot get here fast enough and I hope that we exit March like a lamb as it is Easter weekend and I’ve had enough of this white stuff to do me until November … yes, the first snowfall, twinkling down in November is charming – by now, even with the mild weather like you and I both had, the snow has worn out its welcome.

  3. I have stayed in when I can, until it was time for work. Stayed in where it was warm. I was only out this morning to go to the corner shop for a few bits and top up my gas meter, as I have been keeping it on low through the night with how cold it got, making sure I don’t get burst pipes and also to keep my cat, Miley warm with her not being herself still.
