Every human being has, like Socrates, an attendant spirit; and wise are they who obey its signals. If it does not always tell us what to do, it always cautions us what not to do.
~Lydia M. Child~
No disrespect to Socrates, but my attendant spirit was out to lunch on several occasions. I look back on the decisions made in my past and knew the difference between right and wrong, but for whatever stupid ass reason, I still threw caution to the wind.
My question remains this; Was it my mental illness or was it my addiction or was it both?
Time has passed, and I have forgiven myself and let that shit go!!!
