Good morning all, welcome to the social sofa, its too early for wine 😂, so grab yourself a brew and settle in. Today’s post is one about a social issue that is becoming more and more obvious as we walk around the streets of Britain…homelessness.

The man without a face

Sat against the wall

Sleeping bag draped over his legs

“Can you spare any change love?”

Is the man with no face

“Have a good day Miss…”

As the lady walks by, quickening her pace

Hiding in the doorway

Huddled in his coat, sheltering from the rain

“Can you spare any change sir?

Is the man with no face

“Have a good day Sir…”

As the man walks by not even glancing his way

Can you imagine what it must be like,

To be that man sat on the floor?

Whilst the business men and women

Walk on by….
