When I slow down long enough to smell the roses,
I usually see the beauty and all else that is ours to share.
~ Morgan Jennings ~
(Note: Not following the whole excerpt from the book I usually read daily. This is my personal take on this quote.)
When we are young, life moves at a slugs pace with anticipation for one thing or the other. As we get older, life moves so fast with running here, there, and everywhere, we barely have time to sit and have a meal with our family and/or friends.
We only have this one life to live. It would be a shame if we missed all the little joys that entered our lives, and just stomped straight on through them.
Slow down, and take in the scent of those roses, breathe in the freshness of a new day that lies ahead of you. This day won’t come back again…
